Fresh off a top-to-bottom redesign for the 2015 model year, the Ford F-150 has made its triumphant return to the roster here at Southwest Motors Inc. And now that we've had a chance to meet it "in the metal," we've no trouble asserting: this is arguably the very best one yet.
There are myriad engine options available for the F-150. They are as follows:
All powertrains are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. An electronically controlled four-wheel-drive platform, meanwhile, is available as an option. As you can plainly see, there's most certainly a little something for everyone within the F-150's engine lineup.
The options are just as expansive when considering the F-150's available trim types. There's three body styles -- regular, extended (Supercab) and crew cab (Supercrew) -- three bed lengths -- (5.5, 6.5 and 8 feet) -- and five distinctive trims -- XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum.
If it's a Spartan vibe you're seeking, the entry-level XL should most definitely do the trick. Standard features on this model include 17-inch steel wheels, a 40/20/40-split front bench seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cloth upholstery and a 4.2-inch display screen.
However, if it's a more upscale feel you're after, consider the luxury-loaded Lariat. Standard equipment on this trim includes dual-zone auto climate control, an 8-inch gauge cluster informational display, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats and keyless ignition and entry. It's as stylish as it is substantive.
That said, we feel we're only scratching the surface here; there's still so much more to this top-shelf truck. To discover all else it has to offer, we suggest you set a course for our Pueblo, CO location, proudly serving the greater Pueblo West, Fort Carson, Canon City and La Junta vicinity. Swing through soon, and we'll be happy to set you up with a test drive in the F-150, or any other pre-owned model available on the premises.
